This gorgeous late 19^th C. Limoges covered dish stands on a pedestal base and is ornately decorated in gilt Ormolu trim. The dish features a profuse design of goldleaf scrolls, with a wide ormolu band of leaves, and a delicate wreath of flowers painted on the inside of the bowl. The top is decorated with a pine cone handle and a spray of flowers on either side. The dish is painted in a deep blue porcelain, with the Limoges mark on the bottom. This fabulous dish would make an outstanding feature piece for a wide range of rooms and settings.
