Magnificent marble sculpture of a female nude lying on the back of a granite sphinx. Although unsigned the sculpture shows great similarity with the work of Florentine sculptors such as Dante Zoi, Affortunato Gory and Alberto Saccardi, all of them well known for their elegant female nudes, and quite often use different materials within the same sculpture.
