This beautiful Jardiniere is French, Napoleon III period. It is decorated thruoghout with parquetry of kingwood and has fine ormolu mounts. It is of serpentine form and stands on cabriole legs with a low shelf above the feet and has two ormolu framed porcelain plaques inset on the long sides.
