This very decorative lamp is a wonder piece of sculpture. It is fashioned from several different types of alabaster, all fitted together and represents a lady in Eastern costume resting by a fountain. She is posed with one foot up on a rock and her head resting on her hand, lost in her thoughts.
A mask fountain issues water into a container at her feet.
Above her is the original veined alabaster lamp shade.
