This surprise bar is made of oak. upon opening the top doors the internal surface rises up. It comes with a suite of cut crystal glassware, which fits into recesses in this surface. There are three decanters contained within the tantalis mechanism. The stretcher between the legs holds a circular galleried platform for extra bottles and the bellows mechanism, designed to take some of the weight as the interior descends, is still functioning.
