Superb quality 19th century satin birch desk

The upper section of the desk has a carved central pediment, flanked by two banks of three drawers each with a three quarter brass gallery the drawers are locked by sliding corinthian columns. The pedestal base with eight drawers and one large central drawer. The pedestal drawers have well carved capitals either side and are locked from the side. The central leather writing surface slides out and reveals concealed pigeon holes/letter rack. It is panelled on all sides a testament to its quality.
