This stylish piece of furniture is French, 19th century, in the Louis XVI manner.
It is mahogany with generous ormolu mounts and is glazed on all sides, making it free-standing.
All four sides are of shaped glass, and it is a bit above the ordinary in that it is two-tiered.
Access is by a central door on one of the long sides, and all the glass is original.
