This mahogany surprise bar is larger than usual and features, as well as a full compliment of crystal, smoking apperatus, a lime press and a locking device for the three decanters.
A stand with three arms is located between the decanters and rotates to click shut when directly above the stoppers. The mechanism is released with the turn of a key in the front of the box.
The decanters have silver collars, hallmarked London, 1900, which accurately dates the piece.
