Inlaid Walnut Table

DSCF3741.JPG

This very pretty Victorian table was made in around 1860. It is of stylized floral form, being a series of twelve convex sections, inlaid in the centre with a concentric pattern of boxwood, ebony, satinwood and kingwood, on a ground of burr walnut. The carved walnut three pillar base descends to cabriole feet.
