This large and impressive bust is bronze, and was made in 1885, as is noted under the signiature, by Renzo Colombo (Italian 1856-1885).
It shows Napoleon, after a portrait of 1812, in top coat and hat looking to his right with a stern imperial expression on his face.
Above the name plate in the front is the imperial eagle of Jupiter holding lightening bolts in its talons.
