This card table, C.1860, has a quarter-veneered burr walnut top with amboyna crossbanding. The fold-over top offers a baize surface with cribbage board inlay on the sides. Beneath are drawers, the central one fitted up for embroidery, with an inlaid work basket under. The whole stands on detachable carved and turned legs and castors.
