Marble Cupid

This sculpture, in "zuccherino" marble is French and was made in about 1860. It shows Cupid with his hands bound behind his back.

This very smart piece of furniture is mahogany, crossbanded in satinwood. the mechanism is metal, giving smooth and easy turning.
Rather surprisingly it takes over 2m 30cm of books.

This pair of console tables are Edwardian, C.1890. They are mahogany inlaid with satinwood and boxwood. the fronts are decorated with parquetry of mahogany and they have drawers.

Burr walnut Pop-up Davenport

This large and very impressive davenport is Victorian. It is burr walnut, the pop-up being decorated with marquetry on boxwood.
