This marble is a Grand Tour piece "after the antique" and depicts Bacchus with his arm around the shoulder of Ariadne as he draws her cloak about her.

Alabaster Bust of Child
This charming bust of a child was made in Germany, C.1900-10.
It is signed by the artist, R. Kuchler.
Underneath it bears a bronze button with the initials "RvM".
Marble Cupid
This sculpture, in "zuccherino" marble is French and was made in about 1860. It shows Cupid with his hands bound behind his back.
