This delicate vitrine table is Edwardian.
It is mahogany, with inlay of boxwood and satinwood. It has been re-lined in white silk and stands on delicate legs joined by elegant curved stretchers.

This lamp table, of attractive lozenge form, is rosewood, decorated with delicate marquetry, and was made in England C.1900.

Pair of Edwardian Satinwood Chairs

These very smart armchairs, in solid satinwood with pretty painted decoration were made in England C.1890.
They are a Hepplewhite design, with elegant shield backs and gracefully curved open arms.

This wonderful tour-de-force of marquetry was created in France, C.1860. The front depicts two birds contemplating the fate of a juicy looking cicada which stands on the branch between them.
